02 / A PAN WITH A STORY

A little inkstone. A detail worth keeping close.

The dedicated pans draw on the form of Korean inkstones. Lotus, dokkaebi and other relief motifs sit above each paint well, bringing traditional details to the moment you open the case.

The paints are portioned by hand. Different drying and shrinkage can leave each color with its own visible surface, while the magnetic tin keeps the pans together between painting sessions.

With Deep Azurite Blue and Malachite Green, mineral crystals may catch the light as you tilt the paper. No glitter powder is added. Sparkle and pale layers can vary from pan to pan.

AI product and brushwork scenes illustrate color characteristics. They are not measured swatches. Screen colors may differ from the actual paints.

Even when ground to the same size, natural minerals differ in weight from grain to grain, so the sparkle and pale layers appear a little differently in every pan. That is the signature of colors that come from nature.

01 / PLEASE NOTE

As each color dries

Each color shrinks differently as it dries, so the amount in each pan may vary.

02 / PLEASE NOTE

Portioned by hand

Because the paint is portioned by hand, slight bleeding at the edges or small air bubbles may appear.

Safety & storage

  • Do not eat.
  • Wash hands after use.
  • Keep out of reach of children.

  • Six mineral watercolors in dedicated pans
  • Tin case with magnetic pan fixation
PREPARE SEPARATELY

Your brush, water and paper.

  • Watercolor brush, water container and water
  • Watercolor paper for your painting
01Do I need to mix a binder before using these paints?

The refined mineral pigments are already mixed with a binder and set in pans. No separate glue heating or binder mixing is needed. Touch a wet brush to the paint, wait 10–20 seconds and stir gently.

02Are a brush and paper included?

The basic set described here contains six paint colors, dedicated pans and a tin case with magnetic pan fixation. Prepare a brush, water container and watercolor paper separately. Artwork and styling props in the images are not included.

03What can I try painting first?

Try a small leaf, a simple mountain wash or a flower outline. Begin with a light wash, let it dry and add another layer to one area. The paintings and patterns on this page are AI-created ideas for creative use.

04Do all six colors sparkle in the same way?

No glitter powder is added. Mineral crystals in blue and green colors may catch the light; brown and ochre have a quieter appearance with almost no sparkle. Particles and pale layers can vary from pan to pan.

05Why do the paint levels or small bubbles vary?

Colors shrink differently as they dry. Hand portioning can also leave slightly different visible levels, edge bleeding or small bubbles. Contact us with a photograph if you have a question about a product you receive.

06Can I close the case immediately after painting?

Close the case only after the paint in the pans is fully dry. Wash your hands after use and store out of reach of children. Do not eat the paint. This product guidance is intended for adult users.

Product story

The core product of IRUMBER, a mineral watercolor brand developed by Erum. Seokchae mineral pigments are ground, levigated, blended with binder and set in dedicated pans. Start with a brush and water, without warming glue or mixing a separate binder. The pans take inspiration from traditional Korean inkstones. Five motifs have been developed: lotus, dokkaebi, landscape, roof tile and norigae. The drawing specifies a pan size of 35 × 22 × 10 mm. These five motif designs are distinct from the six paint colors. Current guidance is for adult users. Please confirm final retail contents, consumer pricing and availability through an inquiry or the confirmed product listing.
